“Nothing ever built arose to touch the skies unless some man dreamed that it should, some man believed that it could, and some man willed that it must.”
— Charles Kettering
This site documents the Concordia Project from inception through design, building and flight testing. Dick Butler, Gerhard Waibel, and Dr. Loek Boermans have created a truly international project to create the new SUPERSEGLER!
Contributions from Butler, Waibel, and Boermans were originally provided to SoaringCafe.com over many months as a series of installments, as well as many other contributions from many other people who have participated in the project. In 2020, these posts were moved from SoaringCafe.com to this new site to preserve them for the future. On this site you will find detailed information about the Concordia Project as well as interviews with key individuals who have made significant contributions to the project.
